The winners of the ‘Wildlife photography competition 2019’ were announced by London’s Natural History Museum on Wednesday.
Sir Michael Dixon director of Natural History Museum said: ‘This compelling picture captures nature’s ultimate challenge , its battle for survival.’

At a time when precious habitats are facing increasing climate pressures, seeing these fleeting yet fascinating moments reminds us of what we need to protect.’
Chief judge Roz Kidman Cox’s words about the winning photo of the ‘Wildlife Photography competition were ‘Photographically, it is quite simply the perfect moment.
