Young Egyptian Sculptors Linesmag

In the previous article we talked about some of  our Awesome Egyptian sculptors. And we couldn’t be more proud to say that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. So this time, let’s move forward in time a little bit and talk about the young aspiring sculptors, those who seem to have an amazing future lying ahead.

Without any more introductions here are five aspiring Egyptian sculptors whose names you should absolutely remember!

1-Mona Heikal

Using the magic of abstraction she amazes us with how delicate her artworks are. The bronze metal flows like liquid in her sculptures. Especially in those inspired by the animal kingdom, she shows us how our mind and imagination can interpret these smooth masses into dynamic forms that are so close to being alive.

2- Shaymaa Darwish

Although her work is very calming, and appears to be subtle, it says a lot of things. It is rare to find someone who is able to express serenity in such a way, and see it in all forms of creation. Our artist Shaymaa Darwish takes us through a calm trip inside our minds, to find peace and calmness. And although most of her pieces seem to be calming, when she wants to be dynamic, she does it with absolute beauty. Absolutely unique, and creative.

Seeing magic in everything that surrounds us, getting inspired by the minimal details, that is true art! But this magic only reveals itself for those who seek it. Those who work hard to get it. As Michelangelo the famous Italian sculptor once said: “every block of stone has a statue inside it, and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it”, and without any doubt we can say that our young Egyptian sculptors here, have had their task well done.

David grew up loving all kinds of narrative arts, it made him realize that everything revolves around, and ends up being a story. During studying architecture, he discovered that it is directed by a concept, a message or an idea interpreted in a physical form, and is directly influencing the lives of its users. And David is always eager to make these architectural stories, stories worth telling.
